National Grid and Eversource, entered into memorandum of understandings MOU with Dunkin Brands, Inc. Install G4l On Usb. DBI to build a joint initiative referred to as the Dunkin Brands Energy Management Program. Together, these three companies have collaboratively built a strategic partnership and developed a streamlined process for engaging franchise owners to invest in energy efficiency. Through these collaborations, DBI, National Grid, and Eversource have identified key, high priority energy efficiency upgrades for the franchisees. The team structured the program to provide a simple path, generous incentives, and financing for franchisee owners to implement these upgrades. PSO Peak Performers is the Oklahoma schools new partner in power savings. PSO rewards participating businesses and non residential customers for voluntarily reducing electricity use during periods of high peak demand. Many cash strapped school districts are looking to this program not only as a new revenue source while being actively engaged in keeping rates low for all customers. In the first year of the program, eight school districts agreed to enroll among a group of fifty nine Peak Performers. The City of Holland is a Lake Michigan lakeshore community with a population of 3. The Holland Unplugged campaigns goal was to encourage City of Holland residents to turn off or down their air conditioners and get outside to participate in activities that dont use energy to help in the citys participation in the Georgetown University Energy Prize GUEP for 5 million. GUEP is a national competition that aims to dramatically improve Americas energy standing. The Unplugged campaign engaged Board and Council Members, quarterly competitions, door to door canvasing, partnerships with local high school students, videos, social media posts, billboards, and more. The main way people got involved was to share a photo unplugging on social media with the hashtag Holland. Unplugged. Every photo shared was entered into a drawing for prizes that aligned with the unplug theme. Administrators from the Focus on Energy program approached the City of Milwaukee about partnering on an initiative to bring together two and four year higher education institutions to learn from each other about energy management best practices, cost effective energy efficiency improvements, and incentive opportunities from Focus on Energy. The goal of this program is to increase participation by two and four year higher education institutions in Focus on Energy incentive programs and to develop a collaborative network of facilities managers, facility directors and energy managers. To accomplish this, the Focus on Energy team and the City of Milwaukee began recruiting area schools to join the initiative.
